Ah.....another fine Canadian product! I checked out the SP Spruce and it's a good guitar for the budget. It's well balanced and good to strum. Plucking sound's not too bright and it's well rounded. The action/playability is 'easy to play' and I must say that the craftsmanship is very good. They have a warmer SP Cedar for those who like that sort of sound. |

Heard that "Timothy" is Sinamex owner's 7-year old son's name.... fancy having a guitar named after you...maybe I can get them to make one with my name... |

I was told that the basic stuff was made in a nearby country by an old luthier guy co-ordinated by their overseas office and the important stuff that makes it sounds good was done by their doctor at the Guitar Hospital. Whatever it is, I must say that it can take on any expensive guitar in the market. |

yep.. have tried playing the guitar... it feels very firm and has a strong bottom. the sound reflects what it feels too. and i've not tried plugging in so shouldn comment on that. another thing is the action is tuned such that it is comparable to a taylor and without fret buzz.. very firm guitar indeed.
i would say that the next thing is try to make a guitar suitable for little asian people who has little fingers and little arms.
i applaud sinamex for the TLC it puts into its products.
